The Saudi Aviation Strategy aspires to establish the Kingdom a global aviation hub in the Middle East and a pioneer in international aviation. It aims to enhance air safety, improve the traveler experience, and achieve long-term environmental sustainability.

The strategy leverages the Kingdom's strategic location and invests in the future generation by unlocking its potential to become a leading international destination for tourism and business, as well as a global center for an integrated logistics services ecosystem.

Key goals of the strategy including doubling passenger capacity to reach 330 million passengers annually from over 250 destinations worldwide and increasing cargo capacity to 4.5 million tons of goods by 2030. The civil aviation sector strategy focuses on three main pillars: supporting Vision 2030, enabling the national tourism strategy, and strengthening the domestic aviation sector. These efforts aim to expand the Kingdom’s aviation network, increase the market share of national carriers, develop airport infrastructure and operational processes, enhance service quality across the sector, and support the growth of travel and cargo markets.
