Civil Aviation Law Violations Committee

Pursuant to paragraph (a) of Article (174) of the Civil Aviation System, the Committee shall consist of five members from the Board of Directors, at least one of whom shall have a legal qualification and will serve as the chair. The Committee is responsible for reviewing all violations of the provisions of this system and its regulations. Decisions shall be made by majority vote and must be approved by the Chairman of the Board or his delegate. It is permissible to appeal these decisions before the Board of Grievances within sixty days from the date of notification to the concerned parties.

The decisions of the Committee shall be approved by His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation or his delegate, and violators shall be notified through an employee of the General Administration of Revenues and Investment.

The Committee is competent to review the following violations:

• Violation of the provisions of the Civil Aviation System.
• Violation of internal regulations and government orders issued by the Authority.
• Violation of international, bilateral, or special treaties or agreements.
